This publication reports about Filip Van Dingenen and Annelies Vaneycken travel to the French Pyrenees and Slovenia; an expedition in order to find out the story behind the article they read in a Belgian newspaper announcing the dead of Francka the bear. Francka was one of the six Slovene bears that were bought by France in order to enlarge the local bear community in the Pyrenees.
